Smart is 6!

*** Forgive me for posting this a little bit late. ***

I have a hard time believing that Smart is now 6. It's hard for us to comprehend how the time has passed so quickly. We love him so very much and we're so grateful that he came into our life when he did. He is a great big brother and has been a fantastic first child. We hope you had a great Birthday, Smart!

We had the pleasure of celebrating Smart's Sixth Birthday. Here are some of our favorite pictures from the weekend.

It's hard for Sweet to sit at these games very long. When the team came running out after halftime, he turned to me and said, "Yeah! We all done?!?" Before the game was over I probably said "almost" 10 times. But he still had a great time. Thanks for the invitation, Grandpa!

Sad.

We had a great time in Orlando, but we weren't in Jax long enough.  We had a great time visiting Jason and the B's.  We love them to death and had a great time catching up.  We even looked at extending our trip once we got there, but we had too many limiting factors.  But, we will be back sometime...  Until then, we'll just have to blog to keep in touch.  Until we can talk them into coming to Education week.  :)

It's Not Working

When we got off Goofy's Barn Buster today, Sweet was trying to get Grandpa P's attention, but after saying "Grandpa" several times unsuccessfully, he turned to me and said innocently, "Dad, it's not working".

After he got his attention he said, "I went real fast!"

We just got off the The River Rapids and Smart said, "That was the worst ride ever. Why would they make a ride like that?"

We all got soaked.  Most of us went on the ride willingly, but I think ALL of us had fun.  Grandma H  won the prize.  Every inch of her pants were soaked.

We're trapped. Monorail ahead of us broke down and is not operable.
We're grateful we're not on that train. However, our bus leaves in 20
minutes to our hotel. AND I don't particularly care to spend anymore
time on this train.

Forecast: More Rain!

It's still raining very hard.  Sweet is soaked all the way through.  Smart is more concerned about walking in puddles than staying dry.  However, we have no serious injuries to report thus far.
